Why did my buy order go through at a price much higher than what bitcoin is trading for on coinbase?
I just made a buy order on coinbase and saw what the price is on their tracker, it was ~$7369. I went through with the buy order but then noticed after hitting confirm that it said I was buying it at $7407. The price hadn't gone up on the ticker. The buy order process just took about 20 seconds. Did the price spike by $40 for a second and I missed it, or is coinbase overcharging for bitcoin? Is this normal?
